A one day symposium for health professionals, providing practical expert insights into nutrition and its growing influence in the management of key healthcare issues from birth through to old age.
Symposium overview
Nutrition In Life 2008 is being held on Wednesday 21st May 2008 at The Institute of Physics, 73 Portland Place, London. The day will consist of eight keynote presentations, led by opinion leading professionals across the scope of nutrition, and will examine how nutrition and nutrition intervention can assist in human development and the management of ever increasing disease states and illness, from infancy through to old age.
Additional satellite sessions are being organised throughout the day, providing delegates with the option to choose attending presentations that best suit their areas of practice. This years satellite sessions are planned around the areas of 'Nutrition in Cancer' and 'Nutrition in the 0-5 age group' (Satellite session details to be confirmed and may be subject to change).
Practical advice, backed by the latest research and data, will provide delegates with accurate information that can be easily incorporated into everyday practice.

Accreditation
The Nutrition in Life 2007 symposium was awarded 5.5 hours of BDA accreditation. 2008 BDA accreditation is being applied for and all delegates will receive a complete delegate pack together with a certificate of attendance.

An exhibition will take place during the day, giving delegates the opportunity to see professional organisations and companies involved across the scope of nutrition.
